7 Min Fuzz
Possibly the easiest option to build your first guitar pedal effect! A very respectable fuzz with bare minimum components you wont believe your ears when you hear what this little circuit is capable of! Includes output volume control.
PCB Sizing: 1590a enclosure (no-special hardware required) or larger
What else do i need to complete this project?
In addition to the parts included in the kit, to make an enclosed pedal you will need:
- 1 x 1590a enclosure
- 1 x 3pdt footswitch
- 1 x knob to fit a 9mm potentiometer (6.35mm diameter shaft)
- 1 x 6.35mm mono input socket
- 1 x 6.35mm stereo output socket (also acts as a switch for the battery)
Note: if using switched sockets, you can just ignore the extra switch tab.
Optional Parts:
- 1 x 2.1mm DC jack for power, to allow DC power as an alternative to 9V battery power.
Note: to be compatible with most guitar pedal power supplies, it is recommended to use a jack with positive voltage on the outer shell, and negative on the centre pin.
