The Monarch Solder Kit

Solder kits don't get any more beautiful than Boldport's butterfly! This wonderful bug flashes its red LEDs when its antennae touch, mimicing the movement of the wings. It uses a clock source and shift register in a particular configuration in order to generate its patterns. Learn about the basics of digital design, clocking and randomness thanks to this gadget.
